Scholarship policy and procedures

The following scholarships (collectively know as the Raydon Scholars) are generously made possible through the philanthropic support of the Narodowski Investment Trust in memory of family members:

• Alex Raydon PhD Scholarship
• Max and Riva Radunski PhD Scholarship
• Sam and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship
• Sonia Narodowski PhD Scholarship
• Alex Raydon and Nina Narodowski PhD Scholarship

The standard RTP Scholarships terms and conditions as outlined the RTP Scholarship Procedures apply with the exception of the following:

• The duration of this scholarship will be for up to three years and three months. The scholarship duration will be extended for up to three months in the event of approved paid leave.
• The scholarship duration for currently enrolled students will be reduced in accordance with section 4.1.4 of the scholarship terms and conditions.
• Full-time, on-campus enrolment must be maintained for the duration of the scholarship.
• In the event of a change in research direction, the broad areas of research (social justice, social inclusion, human rights, sustainability or environment, or social policy for the betterment of society) must still be maintained in order for the scholarship to continue.
• This scholarship will replace any top-up scholarship such as a Monash Graduate Excellence Scholarship (MGES), Monash Indigenous Research Award (MIRA) or Monash Departmental Scholarship (MDS) in order to comply with section 3.3.4 of the scholarships terms and conditions.
• Recipients will be required to provide a written progress report on the benefits of the scholarship, including their academic achievements.
