Both Registration and Accreditation are valid for 5 years.
Reminder emails will be sent to you before your profile expiry so that you have sufficient time to complete any required modules and, for accredited supervisors, apply for renewal of accreditation.
If your registration or accreditation expires, you will retain your current supervisions but will not be approved for any future new appointments to a graduate research student's supervision team until you have fulfilled the requirements of renewal.
Supervision load and limits are determined by your supervisory category as outlined in the Supervisor Framework.
Once your accreditation expires, your current supervisions will remain. You can become a Registered supervisor if you wish to take on new students. Note that you will be limited to the maximum of 3 students in total and can be appointed as an Associate supervisor only.
You can access your mySupervision Record to view and generate a report of your graduate research supervision and accreditation details including a list of your current/completed students.
From 2 March 2026 staff may also view their eligibility & supervision details via the Supervisor Accreditation PowerBI dashboard.
If you are not already logged into your Monash account, you will be prompted to log in with your username (not email) and password.
