You are eligible to apply for accreditation once you can demonstrate 12-month FTE supervision experience of a PhD student. There is no minimum supervision load in demonstrating this requirement.
Yes. Doctoral supervision experience from other institutions will be considered in your application for accreditation.
Accreditation training is comprised of an online module and a face-to-face training/workshop. Renewal of accreditation training requires completion of the online module only.
All registered and accredited supervisors are encouraged to engage in ongoing supervisor development training. A suite of good practice workshops and online modules are available. Supervisors should complete the appropriate level of development training to ensure currency in supervision skills, knowledge and best-practice.
