STM Clinical trials and research studies
Clinical trials offer access to tomorrow’s treatments, today. Every treatment available today was tried and approved through a clinical trial.
That means new medications that could be future game changers – and repurposed drugs, combinations of drugs, diagnostic and surgical procedures, medical devices and preventive strategies.
Through Monash University’s membership of the Alfred Research Alliance, we work closely with clinicians in what is Australia’s biggest clinical trials site at The Alfred, as well as other health services. This enables us to embed clinical trials experience in our graduate education and leverage the precinct’s internationally recognised expertise in clinical trials best practice.
Translational Medicine researchers run clinical trials or research studies for which both healthy and unwell participants are sought. If you would like to take part in a study or trial, please check our register below of projects now recruiting.
If you’re in regional Victoria, please visit Alfred Health’s Trial Hub page.
