Data linkage

This project wants to better understand how many pregnant women in Australia are having recommended vaccines. It will use health information to find out which families are less likely to have vaccines during pregnancy and what some of the contributing factors might be.
The project will first look at information from Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. Later, it will use health information from across Australia including vaccine data and pregnancy data. This will help researchers see when vaccines are given during pregnancy, who gives them, and how this changes over time. It will also look at new vaccines, such as the RSV vaccine.
What the project learns will help improve vaccine programs and make sure families who need the most support can get it.
