Department of Paediatrics
Department of Paediatrics
The Department of Paediatrics, within the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, is based at Monash Children's Hospital, a dedicated 230-bed state-of-the-art facility.
The department educates over 500 students at this site and others across Melbourne and the Peninsula, Gippsland and North West Victoria and at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Malaysia.
At Monash Children's Hospital in Clayton, we are co-located with the Monash Health Translation Precinct (MHTP), The Ritchie Centre; the largest perinatal research centre in Australia, Hudson Institute of Medical Research and Monash Health.
Research partners, Turner Institute in the School of Psychology, the School of General Practice and Allied Health and the School of Population Health are located on other Monash University sites. Co-location and partnerships provide our students and laboratory, data and clinical scientists with unparalleled opportunities to discover, innovate and deliver better health care from conception to the adult years.
Meet our Head of Department Professor Katrina Williams.
