Department of Paediatrics
The Department of Paediatrics, within the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health (SCS), is based at Monash Children's Hospital, a dedicated 230-bed state-of-the-art facility.
The Department of Paediatrics educates over 500 students across Melbourne and the Peninsula, Gippsland and North West Victoria and at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Malaysia.
On the same site is the Monash Health Translation Precinct (MHTP), The Ritchie Centre; the largest perinatal research centre in Australia, Hudson Insitute of Medical Research and Monash Health. At Monash University's many sites are research partners working at the Turner Institute in the School of Psychology, the School of General Practice and Allied Health and the School of Population Health. Co-location and partnerships provide our students and laboratory, data and clinical scientists, with unparalleled opportunities to discover, innovate and deliver better health care from conception to the adult years.
