Profile

Georgia's project focuses on the various healthcare pathways available to transgender people wishing to undergo gender affirming hormone therapy. The project is utilising a mixed-methods approach, creating a cohort of hormone therapy clients to analyse what factors lead to better personal outcomes after initiation of hormones, and interviewing clients from the cohort to understand their personal journeys whilst in the system. Factors being investigated include: anxiety, depression and quality of life.
