Amplifying the UNCLOUD campaign

Amplifying the UNCLOUD campaign

The Amplifying UNCLOUD at Monash University 2.0 campaign is a collaborative, student-centred project led by researchers and staff across Monash University, dedicated to reducing the harms of vaping among young people.

Following a successful implementation in 2024, the program has been renewed through to 2028 with continued support from VicHealth and Quit Victoria. This next phase aligns with the VicHealth Collective Impact approach to reducing vaping harms and will include a coordinated suite of activities delivered across four Monash campuses.

Key objectives

  • Increasing awareness of the health risks associated with vaping
  • Strengthening community capability to address vaping within youth populations
  • Amplifying the UNCLOUD campaign with tailored engagement and messaging

Monash University will work closely with students, peer leaders, university services and health sector partners to support innovative, community-led change. The program will focus on priority populations within the student cohort and build peer leaders’ capacity to act as change agents – raising awareness of vaping harms and promoting harm reduction through real-world solutions.

This initiative is led by an interdisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners from Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine and the University Health Service (UHS).
