Vulnerable populations

We continually build and translate the evidence-base to improve the health outcomes of vulnerable communities. Our research focuses on several key groups including migrants and refugees, rural and remote communities, people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage and those with mental health conditions.
We use innovative, person-centred research designs to generate responsive findings that shape health policy and services.
