Antigen Triggers in Inflammatory skin-disease

A non-interventional research study of the alterations in the microbiome in inflammatory skin disease.

Subject area of study: Inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis

Brief outline

The study aims to enrol 150 people with inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis.

The study will collect samples from volunteers. These will be used to try and understand the role of antigen presentation in people with these diseases. Specifically, the research aims to identify pathogenic peptides in lesional vs. Non lesional skin.

This could lead to more personalised and effective treatments for psoriasis and ultimately improve patient care.
