Models of Supportive Care in Lung Cancer: Australian Healthcare Provider Perspectives (MOSAIC-Aus)
We are seeking lung cancer healthcare providers to participate in this research study, that aims to understand the attitudes, barriers and facilitators to the provision of palliative care for people with lung cancer and explore ways to optimize the model of care.
Who is eligible?
- Respiratory, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Care Physicians or Specialised Lung Cancer Nurses
- Provide care for people with lung cancer
What is involved?
- A single short interview via phone or video-conferencing (approx 30-40 minutes), at a time that suits you
- You will be asked questions relating to your experience of how people with lung cancer receive palliative care
This research is being led by a team of respiratory clinician-researchers from Monash University in partnership with national and international colleagues, including A/Prof Natasha Smallwood, Prof Anne Holland, Prof Phan Nyugen and A/Prof Donald Sullivan. Ethics approval has been granted by Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (ID 42717). All data collected will be de-identified and confidential.
