About us

The FinTech Lab is a cross-faculty, cross-campus collaboration between Monash Business School and Monash Faculty of Information Technology in Australia, and Monash Malaysia School of Business.

We advance policymaking in financial technology through research, executive education, and the dissemination of insights via white papers, policy briefs, and industry workshops.

By combining academic rigour with practical application, we support the development of future fintech professionals and drive innovation across artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital payments and assets, lending, wealth management, insurance, regulatory technology, and Islamic finance.

Our research addresses critical global and regional issues - such as financial inclusion, financial literacy, and sustainable economic growth - reinforcing Monash University’s position as a fintech leader in the Asia-Pacific region.
