This course is designed for Obstetric registrars, GPs, Midwives and Hospital Medical Officers interested in Obstetrics and consultants keen for a refresher.

Program outline
This fully online workshop includes presentations by world-renowned clinicians and scientists. It will enhance your understanding of normal pregnancy and its common complications:
- Physiology of labour
- Spontaneous labour and induction of labour
- Preterm birth
- Respiratory and circulatory transition at birth
- Timing of cord clamping & initiation of respiratory support
- Instrumental vaginal birth and VBAC
- Postpartum hemorrhage
There will also be opportunities to bring case-studies for further discussion. Please open the course flyer on the right column for details.
Note: The Fundamentals in Obstetric Care I course is not a prerequisite for the Fundamentals in Obstetrics Care II.
