Profile
Tesfaye is an international PhD candidate and public health academic with extensive expertise in Occupational Health and Public Health research. His doctoral study investigates healthcare utilisation for individuals with common work-related musculoskeletal conditions, including low back pain, aiming to reduce work disability and improve return-to-work outcomes for workers’ compensation claims in Australia. Tesfaye received both his Bachelor's degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia. Since then, he has worked in various academic and non-academic positions. at the Institute of Public Health, University of Gondar, Ethiopia. In 2022, Tesfaye received the Monash Graduate Scholarship and Monash International Tuition Scholarship.
