Nature positive Australia – Why does it matter and how do we get there?

Impact Labs demonstrated its capacity to catalyse interdisciplinary research partnerships when it organised this three part webinar series with the newly formed Monash Nature Positive Network, a network of leading researchers developing new research and engagement projects designed to address critical policy challenges associated with the global nature positive goal.

The webinar series included Monash University presenters from biodiversity science, behavioural science, law and finance. Held ahead of the Australian federal government's Global Nature Positive Summit 2024, the webinar series was a timely intervention that raised awareness about pathways to realising a nature-positive Australia. All three webinars were well-attended by a diverse group of participants from federal, state and local governments, private sector organisations, non-governmental organisations, and academia.
