Climate change is already reshaping business law – from greenwashing claims and climate-risk disclosure to just transition and supply chain accountability. Anita Foerster set out to make sure business law students meet these issues head-on, not as an afterthought, but as core, current legal knowledge.

Practice

Anita co-authored the 'Company Law and Climate Change' chapter for the award-winning resource Becoming a Climate Conscious Lawyer: Climate Change and the Australian Legal System (2024), packed with ready-to-use student activities and assessment ideas. She is now leading workshops at Monash Business School to help fellow business law educators bring climate change into their own teaching.

Output

Educators across the discipline now have a practical, tested resource and a growing network of colleagues equipped to teach climate-related law with confidence.
