Previous recipients

Molly Barry

"Thanks to the Rural Résumé Boost Bursary, I've been able to increase the depth and breadth of my dermatology knowledge and obtain the most important piece of equipment for examining the skin- a quality dermatoscope, which will allow me to further my training in skin cancer medicine. This is a cost-prohibitive item that will enable me to examine the skin of thousands of patients over the next 10 or 20 years. With it I hope to benefit rural communities for years to come."

Dr Tim Walsh

"I applied for a Rural Résumé Boost Bursary to access funding for training activities that would allow me to achieve my goals, and attend an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) Course. I feel that the skills I learnt will allow me to greatly assist the children I see in the Emergency Department (ED), and more importantly I can go on to teach others in simulation type training in either ED or on the Paediatric Ward.
