Growing Community-led Disaster Resilience Forum
Jointly hosted by Fire to Flourish and MUDRI.
10 Years of MUDRI Forums highlight how communities across Victoria have led community resilience building initiatives. An exciting new chapter begins with ‘Fire to Flourish’ taking a lead bringing together community-building, disaster and resilience experts in a five-year program to support communities to lead their resilience building programs.
Join us for this inspiring and insightful event, showcasing a range of speakers presenting and sharing ideas on current and practical approaches to community-led resilience building aimed at building connections and sustainable partnerships to strengthen resilience within local communities.
This year’s 2021 Professor Frederick ‘Skip’ Burkle Jnr Keynote Lecturer is Associate Professor Briony Rogers, who will talk about the Fire to Flourish Program and ‘Paving new ways for Community-led Approaches to Disaster Recovery: Bringing together community-building, disaster and resilience experts in a five-year Bushfire Resilience Program’.
