Program Overview

The RAD is an evidence-based program that has been developed by internationally recognised experts in anger and aggressive driving. This unique program transcends conventional driving courses by offering a more holistic approach for addressing emotional driving that can lead to aggressive behaviours.

The RAD provides drivers with the tools to avoid or self-manage emotional driving which can increase their risk on the roads. RAD is suitable for any driver wishing to develop strategies to help remain calm on the road.

The course also supports drivers who use their vehicles as their workplace.

Driving is one of the riskiest activities workers do. Work drivers are at greater risk of emotional driving. When the vehicle is a driver’s office, it can exacerbate stresses or frustrations, and stop drivers from ‘switching off’ from work when driving.  Drivers need to switch off in order to navigate the dynamic and unpredictable nature of the driving task. Through self-reflection, goal-setting, and group discussion, the program helps drivers raise awareness of their own risks.
