Have you experienced an adverse effect following an energy-based cosmetic treatment? Participate in our study…
We are seeking adults (aged 18 years and over) who have experienced an adverse effect from an energy-based cosmetic procedure to participate in a 25 to 30 minute online survey about their experiences.
Eligible cosmetic treatments include:
- various skin treatments
- hair removal
- tattoo removal
- body sculpting, shaping and contouring
- vaginal rejuvenation.
To be eligible you must:
- be aged 18 years or older
- have experienced an adverse effect after a cosmetic treatment
- the cosmetic treatment was provided in Australia on or after 1 January 2016
- the cosmetic treatment involved an energy-based device, such as laser, intense pulsed light (IPL), light-emitting diode (LED), radiofrequency (RF), low-frequency electromagnetic field (EMF) or ultrasound.
