MUARC’s professional development programs are designed to produce and support the next generation of injury prevention leaders and advocates.

The Centre offers programs that are either award (accredited) or non-award (short courses). The flagship Road Safety Management Leadership Program was first held in 2011 and has earned an international reputation for being the preeminent professional development course for aspiring leaders in the field. MUARC has been developing a range of custom programs using a blended learning approach (a mix of classroom and online).

MUARC has most recently developed the Graduate Certificate of Road Safety, which is the only certificate of its kind from a Go8 University. The certificate is an accredited award, comprising 24 credit points.
