Biography: Inam Ahmad is a PhD student at the Monash University Accident Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Her PhD is focused on improving child safety in vehicles by investigating the restraint use for child occupants.
Inam holds a master’s degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong.
Before commencing her PhD studies, Inam worked on several jobs and awareness projects related to public health and public relations.

Current Research: Attitudes, Knowledge and Behaviours regarding Child Restraint System use. Through both qualitative and quantitative methods, the research aims to explore the facilitators and barriers associated with correct and appropriate child restraint use.

Areas of Interest: Child occupants’ safety, road safety enforcement, road user’s behaviours.
