Monash College
By successfully completing the Diploma of Art and Design at Monash College, you could pathway into first or second year at Monash Art, Design and Architecture, depending on the course and subject entry requirements and subject prerequisites. For more information, visit monashcollege.edu.au
Special Entry Access Scheme

Monash Guarantee
If you’re financially disadvantaged, live in a low socio-economic area, attend a Monash-listed under-represented school or are an Indigenous Australian, the Monash Guarantee is an alternate, lower ATAR that may be applicable to you. 1. Monash Indigenous Entry Scheme
This scheme provides an entry point for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants into a range of courses with an achieved ATAR of 50+ (higher for some courses).

Eligibility
To be eligible for admission you must:
- be an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- achieve a minimum ATAR or equivalent of 50 (65 for Bachelor of Architectural Design; 65 for Bachelor of Art History and Curating)
- satisfy all prerequisites as listed in the VTAC guide
- submit a VTAC supplementary information form
- apply via VTAC.
2. Indigenous pathway programs
If you didn’t meet the entry requirements for direct entry through VTAC, you can apply for one of our specialised pathway programs.

High-achieving students
If you’re a Year 12 or IB student applying with an ATAR of 98.00+ (or equivalent), you may be eligible for one of our scholarships. We’ll award the top eligible commencing student in each of Art, Design and Architecture with $6000 per year for up to three years. Learn more...

This prize awards $3000 to the current student in a Bachelor of Fine Art specialisation who achieves the highest mark in the final studio project each year. Learn more...
