This project involved the co-design and development of a comprehensive digital resource for women with early menopause (EM) and health professionals featuring their experiences and perspectives (including audio and video clips), a question prompt list with weblinks to information, evidence-based diagnosis and management care plans and resource lists. The resource, hosted on the Healthtalk Australia website, is designed to support, inform and help with diagnosis, management and improved communication between women with EM and their health professionals for better health outcomes. As a NHMRC partnership grant, this project involved a collaboration between Monash and RMIT universities and stakeholder partner organisations.

The Healthtalk Australia Early Menopause Digital Resource was officially launched on November 4, 2019 by The Hon. Gabrielle Williams, former Victorian Minister for Women, at Women's Health Victoria with participants, members of the research team, partner representatives and invited attendees. The AskEM app was launched subsequently and the MCHRI team are now leading development of international guidelines for EM currently underway.

The research team would like to thank all participants, Steering Committee and Reference Group members, and partners involved.
