This two-day masterclass will be of interest to health professionals, healthcare managers, those working in DHS, researchers, students, policy makers and front-line clinicians who seek guidance and inspiration on healthcare improvement.

In the masterclass, we guide participants through a deliberative implementation process to achieve sustained change. In addition, we explore how implementation science can be integrated within healthcare improvement, to ensure positive outcomes for organisations, service users, and the community.

Good Clinical Practice (accredited ICH GCP training) – Introduction and Refresher courses

Various dates at Monash Medical Centre (Clayton) and the Alfred Campus (Melbourne)

These TransCelerate-accredited GCP short courses will provide participants with an understanding of the requirements of ICH GCP and an awareness of how to conduct a study in accordance with ICH GCP. Suitable training in this area is expected by pharmaceutical companies that initiate commercially sponsored clinical trials, and this course is recognised as acceptable for this purpose.

Implementing Improvement in Healthcare Program – 12 month teaching & coaching

Implementing Improvement in Healthcare is a 12-month program designed to build your knowledge and skills in implementation science and healthcare improvement, enabling you to positively contribute to your field of work. You will be supported through intensive personalised and group coaching,  education on core implementation and improvement concepts, evidence-based approaches, peer support, and exposure to easy-to-use improvement and implementation tools.

This program would be of benefit to healthcare teams planning to start a project in 2023 that would benefit from directly applying new learnings to real-time projects. This program would also benefit clinicians, nurses, improvement facilitators, health-service managers or implementation researchers who want to deepen their skills, confidence and knowledge to facilitate evidence-informed improvement in their teams.

An evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

This course is currently being redesigned and will be available within the coming weeks.

This course integrates the 166 recommendations from the International evidence-based guideline on the assessment and management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) 2018, using a highly engaging interactive format. The course uses case studies, discussion forums, video expert presentations and weekly feedback forums to build the learner’s knowledge and skills in PCOS clinical care.
