About the Nutrition Clinic

The Monash Nutrition Clinic offers low cost, individual nutrition and dietetic consultations with Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics students under the direct supervision of an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).

The clinic offers consultations on a range of nutrition issues including:

  • General healthy eating
  • Weight management
  • IBS and food intolerances
  • Eating disorders
  • Disordered eating
  • Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes)
  • Cholesterol and blood pressure management
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Nutrition for children and adolescents

The Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food also offers specialist Sports & Exercise Nutrition - BASE Facility Nutrition & Exercise Clinic and body composition assessment (by SECA) please contact base.nutrition@monash.edu for more details.

Cost

  • Concession (student or pensioner)
    • Initial appointment (45 mins): $30
    • Review (30 mins): $15
  • Sessions are bulk billed for those with an eligible General Practitioner Chronic Condition Management Plan
  • All others
    • Initial appointment: (45 mins) $70
    • Review (30 mins): $35
    • Body composition analysis (height, weight, body fat on SECA in conjunction with a nutrition appointment only) $25

The Monash Nutrition Clinic at BASE is temporarily closed for 2026. We look forward to welcoming referrals back in the future.

In the meantime, students/visitors can access dietetic services through University Health Services (UHS) at Monash University Clayton campus. Consultations are available face-to-face or via telehealth (Zoom), and new paperwork will be required upon registration.
