This page details the key dates specific to exchange and study abroad students. The orientation dates shown apply to Australian students – if you'll be studying at Monash Malaysia your orientation will take place during the University orientation week.

2026 Important dates
Semester one
| 1 November, 2025 | Exchange student application submission deadline for study in Semester one, 2026 |
| 1 December, 2025 | Study Abroad student application submission deadline for study in Semester one, 2026 |
| Monday 16 February and Wednesday 8 July | For students living on-campus*, accommodation contract will begin and end |
