New Colombo Plan Mobility Program
New Colombo Plan (NCP) Mobility Program funding has been awarded to Monash University by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) as part of a signature initiative that aims to lift the knowledge of the Indo-Pacific within Australia and to strengthen our people-to-people and institutional relationships.
The NCP Mobility Program Grant helps cover living expenses during your global mobility program. The grants are accessible to students participating in selected Global Study Tours or Language Intensive Programs to specific Indo-Pacific countries.
You do not need to apply for these grants. Your eligibility will be automatically assessed by Monash Abroad if you are accepted into a program with NCP Mobility Program funding.
A selection of undergraduate Global Study Tours and Language Intensive Programs are awarded NCP Mobility Program funding, with eligible programs updated annually. If you are participating in a Global Study Tour or Language Intensive Program, check the brochure page for details of funding offered or the unit coordinator will advise you if NCP funding is available.
All enquiries about Global Study Tour or Language Intensive Program should be directed to the faculty running the overseas unit. You can consult the unit's entry in the Monash Handbook for information about the academic staff coordinating the unit.
