Why study social work at Monash?
As we transition to COVID-normal, social workers will be at the forefront of supporting and rebuilding our communities. Our Master of Social Work curriculum has a practical, work-ready focus with an emphasis on evidence-informed practice, ethics, and critical thinking. Through small group workshops, case simulations with specialised actors, and assessment and intervention intensives, the competencies you’ll need to succeed as a social worker will become second nature.

Social work offers diverse and rewarding careers with strong projected employment growth over the next five years, according to the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and social workers are among Australia’s most in-demand professions.
