Inclusion scholarships for Social Work placements

Both rounds of DFFH Placement scholarships for 2024 are now closed. Applications for 2025 will open later in the year.


Eligibility

You may be eligible for a scholarship if you are a domestic student completing your placement in 2024 or 2025, and you meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • From a financially disadvantaged background
  • Experience of engaging with social or community services
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Refugee, asylum seeker or multicultural background
  • Identify as LGBTIQ+
  • Are a person with disability
  • Have caring responsibilities (including single parents, and people caring for a person with disability, chronic health conditions, mental illness, or who is frail or aged)
  • Live in regional or rural Victoria or defined border communities.

A limited number of scholarships are available and will be prioritised by these criteria.
