Your MUARC supervisor, in consultation with you, will develop your research program and report on your progress at regular intervals.
The Master of Philosophy is a university-wide master by research degree administered by the Monash University Graduate Research Office.
The Master of Philosophy Program allows you to develop in-depth knowledge, expertise and skills through the application of research in the field of injury prevention.
You will gain experience in designing and implementing injury prevention research and contribute to our existing body of knowledge by applying, clarifying or interpreting that knowledge.
This course can be completed as a stand-alone program or as a pathway into the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program.
You may choose to study any of the major areas of research MUARC offers. When you study with us, you will conduct a prescribed program of research under the supervision of one of our expert staff.
This course consists of a research and thesis component (100 per cent thesis-only option), and for students undertaking the Disaster Preparedness and Management Stream, a thesis and coursework component (67 per cent thesis option).
