Expert nutrition services by accredited practising dietitians are available to all staff and students through the University Health Service.
As expert dietitians, we understand that managing your diet can sometimes be difficult and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We take your personal preferences and lifestyle into account, and work with you to find how we can best help you to optimise your health. We have a strong focus on helping you achieve your own goals and give you the tools and skills to continue in the long term.
We can provide you with advice on a range of conditions, including (but not limited to):

- diabetes (types 1 and 2, pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes)

Medicare rebates are available for suitable individuals and some private health insurance companies offer rebates for dietetic and nutrition consults.
Bulk billing is available for students, pension card holders and DVA card holders referred under a Chronic Disease Management plan or Eating Disorder Plan.

Be Active Sleep and Eat (BASE) Facility
You can also access nutrition advice from the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food here at Monash University. We're conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the Clayton campus. The nutrition clinic offers services run by an accredited practising dietitian. The clinic also serves as a teaching clinic for nutrition and dietetics students.
