The Centre Advisory Council delivers specialised advice to the Director, Trevor Lithgow. The specialist advice focuses on expanding the Centre to Impact AMR's activities through closer industry and community partnerships to implement sustainable AMR solutions.
 | Emeritus Professor Annabelle Duncan is an Independent Director and Chair of the Boards of Directors of the Sydney School of Entrepreneurship; the Asia Pacific International College; the College of Health Sciences; the Higher Education Leadership Institute and Chairs an Expert Panel for the NSW Physical Sciences fund. She was formerly a member of the board of the Regional Australia Institute. She was also Vice-Chancellor of the University of New England from 2014 until 2019, prior to which she spent 16 years at CSIRO including 6 years as Chief of the Division of Molecular Science.  | Richard is the Chief Scientific Officer at CARB-X. He has a PhD in microbiology from the University of Adelaide, with postdoctoral experience in academic research on bacterial pathogenesis. Subsequently, Richard moved into industry aimed at solutions to AMR with 20+ years at pharma giant AstraZeneca and a smaller biotechnology company leading to marketable compounds. Now based in Boston, Richard travels widely supporting CARB-X, advocating against AMR, and connecting partners in industry and academia to collaborate on driving new solutions to the problem of AMR. |

 | Gordon is an expert in vaccinology, infection and genomics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO). A Professor at the University of Cambridge, Gordon was head of pathogen research and member of the board of management at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (WTSI) in the UK, and thereafter served as Wellcome Infectious Disease Director. During his career, Gordon has pioneered work on enteric diseases and has been a passionate advocate and research leader in the movement to improve vaccine usage in developing countries. |

 | Dr Branwen Morgan MAICD leads the Minimising Antimicrobial Resistance Mission, initiated by CSIRO and developed in partnership with the Departments of Health and Aged Care and Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Previously, Branwen has held numerous senior communications and management roles that bridge academic organisations, publicly listed companies, government and NGOs in the UK and Australia.
