Research Focus
Infections by antimicrobial resistant pathogens are a huge problem across all clinical settings, and that problem isn't going away anytime soon. Currently, I'm investigating the genomic AMR/antiseptic resistance and spatiotemporal characteristics of Serratia marcescens in the Alfred Hospital intensive care unit. Later on, I'm interested in making tools that predict when antimicrobial resistant pathogens will disperse, colonise, and infect hospital patients based on risk factors.
AMR Interests
Antiseptic resistance, spatiotemporal transmission, intensive care unit, machine learning.
