Research Focus

My PhD work investigates how sub-lethal antibiotic exposure and subsequent adaptation within vegetative Clostridioides difficile cells modulates sporulation and the overall resistance properties of resultant spores.

AMR Interests

I have a background in agriculture, so I'm very interested in exploring AMR in a One Health context, i.e., how does clinical or agricultural antibiotic overuse impact human and animal populations, as well as the wider environment in which they reside, and how does this ultimately impact farming practices in Australia.
