Our Experts

Our Centre Leaders are experts drawn from across Monash University’s faculties, working together to investigate and integrate the knowledge and approaches needed to develop new strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance. They lead the Centre’s research agenda through a set of interconnected Impact Themes, bringing together strengths in discovery science, engineering, clinical research, data science and the social sciences.

With 47 Centre Leaders and a broader team of over 200 staff and students,  the Centre combines expertise spanning evolutionary biology, engineering, microbiology, biochemistry and chemistry, education, clinical research, anthropology and social sciences. Working with collaborators across Australia and internationally, our teams connect fundamental research with real-world application.
