The School of Psychological Sciences offers two Clinical PhD Programs
Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Neuropsychology)

Clinical Neuropsychology is a field that applies an understanding of the neural basis of cognition, emotion and behaviour to the assessment and treatment of adults and children with neurological and psychological disorders.
Course outcome: You will be qualified for general registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology)

Clinical psychology is a field that applies the scientific knowledge, methods and principles of psychology to the understanding, assessment and treatment of adults and children with relatively severe emotional and/or behavioural disorders.
Course outcome: You will be qualified for general registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Admission process
Applications for the Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) and Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Neuropsychology) are submitted through the Graduate Research Admission and Scholarship Application portal and managed by the Monash Graduate Research Office (MGRO) admissions team.
