We were fortunate to have 2 Monash placement students with us over a 12-week period. From day 1, the students settled in very well and displayed a high level of enthusiasm and passion in their work. They completed multiple projects to a very high standard and were engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and provided valuable insight and perspective.

The students took time to get to know our team and their new environment, and we found ourselves looking forward to the days they were with us.

It was an absolute pleasure having them with us. We would happily be involved in the placement process again!”

Thank you for giving KidsROAR the opportunity to host a Monash Psychology student.
Our team were impressed by our student’s research contribution towards many of our projects, and their overall work ethic and attention to detail.

Given the success of our experience, KidsROAR are looking forward to hosting more Monash placement students and would highly recommend this program to other organisations.

Thank you again to the team.”

As a small not-for-profit organisation at SuperFriend we get a lot out of supporting relevant student placements that are looking to further knowledge and skills in the area of workplace mental health.

Our first 2 Psychology Industry placement students chose topics that were related to workplace mental health for our youngest generations of workers, Gens Y and Z. It was terrific to see them come in each week with enthusiasm to delve further into the wealth of existing data that we have at SuperFriend to craft some evidence-based outputs (including a social media post, and an employer check-list) targeting employers of young workers.

We look forward to more Psych Industry placement students working with us.”

We had the honour of hosting two PSY3034 Psychological Science in Practice students at our university psychology clinic, an environment of graduate training and clinical practice.

The students were very self-driven to research solutions for our projects, and effectively used their interpersonal skills to collaborate with clinicians, management staff and researchers.  They critically evaluated their own actions, leadership skills, and professional development, putting them in good stead for their future work roles.

Thank you to the teaching team for your excellence in training these students and providing them with job-ready skills.”

Clinical Services Coordinator, Turner Clinics

It has been a pleasure hosting (your students) at the Design Health Collab.

(The students) analysed airport security checkpoint designs, sharing critical behavioural insights. They identified potential challenges with a modified design that hadn’t been considered by our team, which later proved to be right during testing. We are revising their insights in our updated designs.

You’re training exceptional students.

Thank you again for the opportunity to work with (students) - it has been a rewarding experience."
