Cancellation policy

Researchers should endeavour to give maximum possible notice of cancellations so that other researchers can use the facilities.

Primary investigators are responsible for ensuring that participants arrive on time for their scheduled scans. In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • Greater than 5 working days (121 hours) notice - no charge
  • Less than 5 working days (121 hours) notice - 25% charge
  • Less than 2 working day (48 hours) notice - 100% charge

If the number of cancellations exceeds 25% of all bookings, a flat cancellation rate of 50% will apply. Written notice of cancellation must be sent to the MBI Manager.

MBI's cancellation policy applies to all MBI equipment.

Primary investigators are responsible for ensuring that they arrive on time for their scheduled scans. In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • Greater than 40 working days (968 hours) notice – 20% charge
  • Less than 5 working days (121 hours) notice - 50% charge
  • Less than 2 working day (48 hours) notice - 100% charge

ARA-MBI's cancellation policy applies to all ARA-MBI equipment.
