Biomedical Imaging Analytics Lab (Linked FIT-MBI Lab)
Welcome to the Biomedical Imaging Analytics Laboratory
The Imaging Analytics Lab is a linked lab between the Department of Data Science & AI at Faculty of Information Technology and Monash Biomedical Imaging. We aim to make biomedical imaging efficient, accessible and quantitative. Our lab conducts research in biomedical imaging using AI including topics in machine learning, deep learning, medical imaging, and image analysis, broadly:
- Machine learning and deep learning-based (bio)medical imaging including generative AI models.
- Methods development for data acquisition and image reconstruction in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography, and other medical imaging modalities
- Image analysis and signal modelling for neuro, cardiac, and other biomedical applications
The Lab is led by Associate Professor Zhaolin Chen.
