Mailboxes and mail delivery

We are happy to advise that each resident is provided with an individual mailbox for mail sorted and delivered by the Administration Office. Where mail and parcels are delivered directly to the mailbox by Australia Post (ie Peninsula) a house/unit mailbox is provided. Please refer to the diagram below for the padlock specifications.

To avoid mis-deliveries, residents are advised to ensure that all mail and parcels are addressed to:

Please note that MRS will only deliver mail addressed to our residents.  Any article without a name or a name of a non-resident will not be delivered to the mailboxes.

If the incorrect mail is inadvertently placed in your mailbox, please drop them into the Administration Office mailbox.

On the day of departure, you are to remove all your mail and padlock from the mailbox.  Padlocks found on the mailboxes after departure will be removed by the Administration Office.  Any mail left in the mailbox after departure will be removed from the mailbox and returned to sender via Australia Post.  MRS accepts no liability for mis-delivery of any mail returned to sender.

We will endeavour to deliver all mail, including private and confidential mail, to mailboxes by 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Oversized or signature required articles will be kept in the Administration Office.

  • For Clayton: an email will be sent to you advising you to collect your parcel.  The article will be returned to sender if it is not collected within 7 days.
  • For Berwick: an email will be sent to you advising you to collect your parcel.  The article will be returned to sender if it is not collected within 7 days.
  • For Peninsula: A collection card from Australia Post advising you to collect your parcel is delivered directly to your street mail box.  All enquiries to Australia Post.
