Residential Life Team

When you live on-campus, you’ll join the wider Monash University Accommodation community. You’ll also become part of your smaller hall community, supported by your Residential Life Team, made up of Residential Life Staff and volunteer Resident Advisors .

The overall aim of the Residential Life Team is to create a positive environment where residents are supported and support each other, feel connected to the residential community through activities, events and programs, and benefit from a range of personal development opportunities

The Residential Life Team gets to know every resident as an individual and celebrate the diversity of everyone living on campus.

Residential Life Staff

Each residence is led by Residential Life Staff. Their role is to oversee the day-to-day running of the residential community and to consider the longer-term development of our programs. They’re involved in all aspects of the community building activities, including academic and recreational programs. They also work closely with the volunteer Resident Advisors to ensure they are supported in their roles. Actively involved and available for advice and support, our Residential Life Staff lead the recruitment of student leaders alongside discipline and community standards.
Volunteer Resident Advisors

Our Resident Advisors (RAs) are a group of students who have been specifically selected and trained as designated student leaders within their communities. RAs are here to help their fellow residents get the most out of living on campus. RAs also run a wide range of social activities and engagement programs.
