24/7 Live in Support
When you live on campus, you’ll join the wider MRS community. You’ll also become part of your smaller hall community, supported by your College Head, Deputy College Head, Residential Support Assistant and Resident Advisors who together make up the Residential Support Team.
The overall aim of the Residential Support Team is to create a positive environment where residents are supported and support each other and benefit from the range of personal development opportunities.
The Residential Support Team get to know every resident as an individual and really celebrate the diversity of our residents.

Each Residence is led by a College Head.
The College Head’s role is to oversee the day-to-day running of the residential community, as well as to consider the longer-term development of our programs.
Hands-on and always available for advice and support our College Heads lead the student leader recruitment as well as managing discipline and community standards
The Deputy College Heads work closely with the College Head to provide support and care to all of our residents.
In the absence of the College Head the Deputy is responsible for the community.
They’re involved in all aspects of the community including our academic and recreational programs
Our Resident Support Assistants also work closely with the Resident Advisors to ensure they are supported in their role.
RSAs are generally highly experienced and capable student leaders or recent graduates - and provide an essential link between our student leaders and staff.
Our Resident Advisors are a group of 'returning residents' who have been specifically selected
and trained as designated student leaders within their communities - there to help all fellow residents get the most out of living on-campus.
RAs also organise and manage the various social activities and engagement programs.
