Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Scholarship Opportunities

Location: Clayton campus

Employment Type: Full-time

Duration: 3.5-year fixed-term appointment

Remuneration: $40,000.00 p.a. 3.5 years full-time rate (pro-rata). Tuition fee scholarship and overseas student health cover (OSHC) may be provided for successful overseas students.

Expressions of interest are sought from outstanding candidates to undertake full-time PhD research at Monash University as part of Monash University’s innovative Graduate Research Industry Partnerships (GRIP) program. The S²ARail GRIP is an interdisciplinary program around a major overarching topic (Railways) and undertaking projects from a variety of disciplines supported by academics and professionals from Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Information Technology, Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA), Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) and Monash Institute of Railway Technology (IRT).

Professional development: As part of the Monash Doctoral Program, S²ARail GRIP students will complete a minimum of 120 hours of professional development training.
