Profile:

Kylie is a radiation therapist with over 30 years of experience. She undertook her clinical training primarily at Peter MacCallum and has worked in New Zealand, Scotland and England before settling at Genesis Care in 2006, occupying multiple roles including Unit Manager, CT Lead and acting Centre Leader.

Kylie has been involved with the MRT program in varying roles since 2014. She is currently in the role of Course Director, bringing with her strong skills in leadership, education, simulated online learning, collaboration and person-centred care.

Kylie is also the Clinical Convenor for the Master of Radiation Therapy and the Bachelor of Radiation Science. She has strong connections within the radiation therapy community across Australia and internationally, assisting to secure and support placement in Singapore and New Zealand. Kylie is keen to continue to expand opportunities for students across borders, be it in-person or virtually. She also facilitates  'Monash Connect with Practice' webinars which attract over 150 participants from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong, which provide free, accessible CPD opportunities for students and practitioners to learn with and from each other.
