Supervision and communication
The cooperation among supervisor, students, and peers is an important aspect of conducting research. Sharing ideas, asking questions and working with fellow researchers assists in brainstorming new and effective ways to approach your research and can be a great way to provide ongoing support and motivation for one another. This section describes the supervision process and lists a number of tools supervisors and students can use to communicate.
Supervision is a place where a living profession breaths and learns... supervision can be a very important part of taking care of oneself, staying open to new learning, and an indispensable part of the supervisor's ongoing self-development, self-awareness and commitment to ongoing learning. - Hawkins and Sohet
