About Inquisit
Inquisit is useful for when you want to design and administer psychological tasks. It can be run either locally on a desktop (Inquisit Lab) or over the web (Inquisit Web). Please click on the tiles below find out more about how and when to use these applications.
Please note that we recommend you use Inquisit for any studies that use behavioural/cognitive tasks.
Inquisit Lab
This is a desktop application that can be used to run and edit scripts locally (e.g. subjects need to be with you and use the specific laptop/PC).
Inquisit Web
This is a web based tool for distributing experiments online (e.g. subjects can participate from anywhere in the world).
