Accessing and using monash.figshare
You can log in to monash.figshare directly using the link below. Once you are on the monash.figshare homepage, you can log in by selecting your institution (i.e. Monash University) and entering your authcate details.
When entering the monash.figshare website for the first time you may be tempted to "sign up", however Monash already has an account that can be accessed using your authcate details so there is no need to go through the sign up process again.

All files uploaded through monash.figshare are stored at Monash University for long-term security, and to prevent lock-in to the figshare service.
All users across Monash will start with 10GB of storage. If you are approaching the maximum of your initially allocated space, you can request more storage.
On the My Data tab you will see how much storage you have under the Activities tab. Placing your cursor on the allocation brings up a link (Request more?). Click this link, fill in your new quota and hit submit. Your request will be sent to a monash.figshare administrator.
