Student on-campus accommodation pricing 2023
The fees for living on-campus at Monash vary depending on the type of accommodation – we’ve detailed everything in the table below.
Wherever you choose, you can be assured that you (or your child) will live in a fully furnished room, in a secure environment, with electricity, gas, water, laundry facilities, internet and car parking* taken care of.
Plus you’ll enjoy the additional benefits of living on campus, residential support, organised activities and programs, as well as leadership opportunities.

The rates above are for 2023. Rates and contract period for 2024 will be available from late October 2023.
Costs associated with the cleaning of a room/studio may apply on departure.
The contract dates listed above and used by Monash Residential Services are NOT the same as those used by Monash University and have absolutely no relation or bearing to the University's lecture and/or examination timetables.

* The application for a residential parking permit must be accompanied by proof of vehicle ownership. Each resident is entitled to only one permit.

Invoicing
We'll email an invoice at the beginning of each month to your Monash email address. You’ll have to ensure that you pay the amount on the invoice by the end of that month. There are a number of different payment options (including online) - just remember to use the unique reference number that's displayed on your invoice.
If you're a parent/guardian and you're paying the fees, you'll need to organise with your child for them to forward it onto you. If you'd like to discuss their rental invoice with us, for privacy reasons, they'll need to submit a 'Release of Personal Details' form via the MRS Resident Portal first.

The prices below are per-night and include electricity, gas and water usage charges. Fees exclude GST.
