Marketing is a highly relevant and dynamic area of study which can lead to a wide range of rewarding careers. Exciting career opportunities include business and consumer marketing, marketing communications and branding, retailing and e-commerce, sales management, marketing research and consulting.

Established over 50 years ago, our department has a strong track record of providing high-quality marketing education which prepares students for employment and entrepreneurship. Our educational offerings range from undergraduate to honours, Masters and PhD programs. We have thousands of alumni who are successful marketing executives in a variety of commercial, not-for-profit, and governmental organisations. Many of our PhD graduates work at leading universities domestically and globally.

We have over 40 academic staff members who conduct cutting-edge and impactful research which has been published in top-tier journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, and Management Science. Our research strengths include consumer behaviour, business-to-business marketing, healthcare marketing, services marketing, retailing, marketing communications, branding and social marketing.
