Mock MRI Scanner

MBI houses a Mock MRI Scanner that is available for use when booking the 3 Tesla MRI Scanner.

The Mock MRI Scanner provides a realistic approximation of an actual MRI scanner and is beneficial as it:

• Introduces participants to an authentic scanning environment.
• Permits participants to gradually become accustomed to the scanning procedure.
• Trains participants to minimise movements.
• Encourages a calmer and more focused participant, ultimately resulting in more productive scan.
